Dan Patsula, P.E. NUCA's New Executive Director

The National Utility Contractors Association of Washington (NUCA fka UCAW (Utility Contractors Association of Washington)) has a new Executive Director, Dan Patsula, P.E. Dan is a past principal and founding partner of Inca Engineers, a well recognized and respected transportation and civil engineering firm located in Bellevue and Tacoma Washington, as well as Phoenix Arizona. For the last 5 years NUCA has thrived under the guidance of outgoing Executive Director Mike Myette, P.E. a well respected design and construction engineer responsible for numerous transportation and infrastructure design and construction projects. Engaging Patsula as the Executive Director cements NUCA’s commitment to improve the business environment for the civil infrastructure community through dedicated involvement in legislative action, education, networking and communication.

For more than 30 years, NUCA of Washington has been more than just another contractor association. NUCA is the driving force for the Washington State utility and infrastructure industry. Founded in 1978 the Association’s mission has been to assist its members (contractors, suppliers and industry professionals) to become more profitable. Since is inception, NUCA of Washington has been responsible for extensive legislative and industry wide improvements to contracting that have strengthened the industry, not only for its members but also for all stakeholders involved in infrastructure.

NUCA of Washington is an independent chapter of the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA). Its broad based membership includes contractors (union and open shop) small and large, disadvantaged women and minority businesses, as well as numerous associate members who serve the construction industry as suppliers and professionals.

Under Patsula’s leadership NUCA should continue to be a significant participant in forming Washington’s construction infrastructure.
