Join us for the Contractor Training Day at the Edmonds Community College this Friday, September 6, 2013. The program is free and is organized by the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries. Ahlers & Cressman attorneys will be presenting on “Insurance Coverage and Bonds” (1:00 pm to 2:00 pm) and “Contracts on Publicly Funded Projects” (10:00 am – 12:00 pm).
In addition to the classes presented by Ahlers & Cressman, there are more than 25 other classes are offered on subjects including: safety, managing your claims to control your workers’ compensation costs, public works contracting, business planning, prevailing wages, marketing and more. The training is geared toward the construction industry but it may also be beneficial to other similar businesses.
